2023 Dutch GP Recap: Was this the best formula 1 race of 2023?

 
 
The Formula 1 summer break has ended and we are back with lots of news and the Dutch GP.
Daniel Ricciardo is out with a broken hand, which means kiwi Liam Lawson is taking his place at Alpha Tauri! HAAS has re-signed their drivers and is ready to focus on developing the car… and rumors have it that Lance Stroll is quitting F1 for tennis.
The Dutch Grand Prix was a major party despite the weather situation and Lynnette and Allison discuss the race results and how Max is on a role to set a new record of winning 10 consecutive races in a row. It was also a surprise podium with Pierre Gasly getting his first podium of the year, and Fernando Alonso was back after a brief break of the top 3.
We also answer all of your race questions you submitted for the pit cree segment and we give you our tips/tricks for Monza!

Summer Break Recap Episode: Bradd from Furious Motorsport

2023 Belgian GP Recap: Oscar Piastri finally gets his day, is Max Verstappen unstoppable?

Lynnette and Allison cover the Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix and answer your questions from earlier this week on their Pit Crew Segment. The weekend started out with a lot of rain during the Sprint Shootout and Sprint Race. We saw Oscar Piastri get his first “unofficial” podium by coming in 2nd in the Sprint Race on Saturday. Max Verstappen was unstoppable once again and not just during the Sprint Race. As the rain eased up, Lance Stroll ended qualifying by going into the wall after taking a gamble and going on to slick tires. Of course, we have to discuss Lewis Hamilton and Sergio Perez making contact during the Sprint Race as well as the collision during the race between Carlos Sainz and Oscar Piastri. The race started with a very interesting Belgian National Anthem and we discussed the drivers reactions. Martin Brundle also changed it up on his “grid walk” by interviewing F1 fans! We also discuss several news items like Alpine’s major changes, Ferrari letting Laurent go, a possible chance of seeing Mattia Binotto back in f1, and Pirelli’s fate as a tyre supplier. All of this and more on this week’s episode!

2023 Hungarian GP Recap: Danny Ric is back and, maybe, so is Mclaren!

This week Lynnette and Allison talk about the Forumla 1 Hungarian GP. Daniel Ricciardo is back in Formula 1, this time, with Alpha Tauri and they're  already seeing improvements in the results.
Hungary saw a new qualifying format, which we kept an eye out to see how it would affect the teams and their strategy. Lewis Hamilton had a magical qualifying performance, putting an end to Max Verstappen's pole position streak, but he couldn't do much with it on Sunday. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri fought hard for a podium finish but only one prevailed. Sergio Perez had a huge hill to climb after a not so great qualifying session, making his way from the bottom as did Carlos Sainz, and George Russell.
While McLaren and Mercedes are having some good results, we're wondering where is ferrari and Aston Martin? And, what is the morale like at Alpine after suffering a huge blow this weekend. We talk about all of this and more!

2023 British GP Recap: Grid walk drama, Top Gun George, & Lando we can be world champion!

Join Lynnette and Allison as they recap the Formula 1 British GP.  We couldn't get enough of the British fans cheering on Lando Norris, and Lewis Hamilton as the rounded off the podium alongside Max Verstappen at Silverstone!
Tons of inclement weather before qualifying paved the way for some on track drama during Q1, and made for an exciting qualifying session. RedBull's Sergio Perez once again missed out getting into Q2, while Mclaren and the Williams we showing amazing pace. 
We also discuss some of the pre-race coverage, like George Russell and Ted Kravitz getting a ride on the RAF jets, and of course, the infamous grid walk with Cara Delevingne snubbing Martin Brundell. 
We also discuss some of the latest news out of the paddock as Nick Devries future in F1 is still uncertain with possiblities of Daniel Ricciardo replacing him, and will Checo stay at Redbull? Tune and and see what we think!

2023 Austrian GP Recap: Black and white flags for all!

Join Allison and Lynnette as we recap the Formula 1 Austrian GP. It was a wild race weekend at the RedBull Ring that also included an exciting Sprint Race Qualifying filled with track limit violations, followed by a Sprint Race Shootout where we saw the RedBulls battle it out for a few turns. 
We also give our thoughts on qualifying for the race and the race on Sunday and see how the track limits affected almost every driver on the field while the top 3 showed discipline. It seems as though the upgrades from Ferrari and McLaren worked and we may soon have some good battles for third and possibly second. 
We also do something a little different this week with our Pit Crew segment. We get to listen to voice notes from a follower and discuss her thoughts on what Daniel Ricciardo's future is, will Lewis Hamilton get his 8th drivers championship, and which rookie will continue in Formula 1 next year.

2023 Canada GP Recap: Good weather...for a duck! Driver’s salaries and will Lewis extend his contract?

Join Lynnette and Allison as they recap the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix and touch on all of the hot points of the weekend! Rain loomed over Montreal for most of the weekend but the track was dry come race day! We kick it off with the most empty grid walk of the season before getting into a pretty action packed Formula 1 GP.George Russell was the only one to hit the wall hard enough to bring out the safety car and testing the Ferrari strategists. Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton fought it out for 2nd, ad the Ferrari’s of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz followed comfortably behind. But where were Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll? We also talk about F1 driver's salaries and if Lewis will ever resign his contract with Mercedes!

2023 Spanish GP Recap : Brundle dropped the ball and Guenther was sent to timeout!

Join us gals while we recap the Formula 1 Spanish GP. We kick it off with some news leading up to the weekend and Guenther Steiner getting called to the bench for some not so nice words about the stewards.Qualifying saw some disappointments for a few of the drivers like Charles Leclerc, Sergio Perez, and George Russell, while Mclaren’s Lando Norris shined with a P3. On Sunday, it started with Martin Brundle fumbling the ball on the grid walk, and ending with Nico Rosberg getting called out by Christian Horner! With 107 overtakes, the Spanish GP wasn't the most boring race like everyone expected and we got to see the return of Mercedes with a 2-3 podium. Stay tuned till the very end as we share some very exciting news!

2023 Monaco GP Recap: A little rain, chaos, and a lot of yachts!

In this week’s episodes of the I Give A F1 podcast, we discuss the Monaco GP!The weekend got off to a hectic start. Friday’s practice session kicked off with a couple drivers touching the wall setting the stage for what was to come. Sergio Perez crashed out during qualifying, while other drivers shined! On Sunday, all eyes were on Max Verstappen and Fernando Alonso as they started on the front the row. Rain made an appearance towards the second half of the race shaking things up a bit and making for an exciting Monaco GP.We’ll share our thoughts on Ferrari’s strategy, Alonso and Max’s incredible drive, and Esteban Ocon delivering when he needed to.Oh, and we can’t forget the losers of the weekend!
